Car is very clean and very fast. It has 400 rear wheal HP, and easily does 150mph and is a good 12 second ¼ mile car. I rebuilt the motor a little while ago with all performance parts. I have the receipts for everything. I stripped the motor completely apart and had the block hot tanked and cleaned, de rusted and the cylinders rehoned. The rotating assembly (crank, forged aluminum pistons, new, and piston rods) are fully balanced. I got a new ported and polished intake and ported and polished the heads to match the intake ports. I put a high lift cam shaft kit in the motor to get the 400 HP I wanted. Moroso cold air intake, Flowmaster American Thunder Exhaust. Loads more extras, you name it, I put it in this car, and I have all the receipts to prove it. I need to sell the car by February 15 th or it gets shipped back to the USA . | This vehicle had not been used for several years and was retrieved in a badly corroded, unroadworthy condition. New owner required restoration to good condition suitable for daily use but within a restricted budget. The interior was stripped out and all body panels removed. Extensive weld repairs were made to corrosion in footwells, front & rear wings, rear floor & tailgate. The windscreen aperture was almost completely rotten and has been totally rebuilt by hand. Panels were repaired or replace as required and individually prepared by hand with an etch primer painted on the bare metal followed by three coats of primer and 3-4 coats of paint. The original red plastic interior has largely been replaced by charcoal cloth trim which is more attractive and practical for daily use. Mechanical refurbishment work will follow once the vehicle has been used throughout the summer. |

| This is a stunning example of a 1996 police Caprice (9C1) in stunning condition. It has just turned 110,000 miles on the clock, and the car is still dark blue over grey, which is the colours of the Virginia State Police. I am not sure what any prospective buyer would know about the 9C1 cars, but these were the special model that Chevrolet built for police and emergency departments in the US.
