USAutomotive Ltd has teamed up with TMI Products of California – the classic Mustang interior manufacturer.

The TMI Products inventory includes seat upholstery, interior consoles, floor coverings, door panels, headliners and convertible roof assemblies for the classic pony car of the mid-sixties through to the larger versions of the mid-seventies. For the first time, the full TMI Product range is now available exclusively in the UK through USAutomotive Ltd.

All TMI Products feature exact, authentic colours for hassle free matching. TMI Products seat upholstery uses only the thickest vinyl for superior wear resistance and shape retention, while door panels use Masonite wood backing (much stronger than hardboard) for the ultimate in lasting quality. TMI Products convertible tops incorporate the same stain and fade resistance materials as used by Mercedes-Benz, and are precision made to provide a snug, no flap fit. In short, all TMI Products have been thoroughly developed to provide an OEM appearance, and as a result of new manufacturing techniques, are better made and far more durable than the original components they replace.

The latest TMI Products innovation, revealed at the recent SEMA show, combines old with new in a unique ‘ Sports Seat' for classic Mustangs, designed to appeal not only to “resto-mod” enthusiasts but to owners of original Mustangs seeking superior seat comfort.

Sold in pairs, the seats are designed to replicate the 1965-67 original equipment look. They are finished in period-style vinyl, but combine superior comfort, support and performance through a new seat foam and headrest design. The headrests feature a tilting-ratchet mechanism, and are height adjustable.
